The first provider of epoxy resin art and tool supplies in Palestine has now expanded their business and become the country’s first supplier of Jesmonite too.
Woodberg, based in Ramallah, has added our water based concrete alternative to its array of products – and both customers and staff are very excited.
The company, which started in 2017 as a small carpentry workshop, made epoxy resin wooden tables, antique masterpieces and custom made handmade requests locally at first.
Perfect fit
But now it has expanded to have two stores, a workshop running free courses on how customers can use the materials they sell and an online shop.
Managing director Ameer Abed said Jesmonite fits perfectly with their range of products.
“We are always looking to provide the latest trending art materials for our customers, and we found Jesmonite after researching online,” he said.
“We are so excited to be the first distributor here – Jesmonite is indeed high quality and popular worldwide and it’s also affordable, which is important for us and our customers too – we love working with Jesmonite!
High quality trending material
“We sell a lot of different products, always the highest quality trending arts and crafts materials, and they are all related and can be used together to create stunning masterpieces.
“Jesmonite fits perfectly into our range as it can be poured in any silicone mould – not every material works like this – it can be mixed with resin or even soy wax to create different art styles and ideas.”
Staff at Woodberg are currently experimenting with Jesmonite AC100 in silicone moulds and making terrazzo effect products, they hope to soon bring to life their many ideas to create stunning Jesmonite pieces with resin and wood.
Popular products
Ameer said his customers were thrilled to hear Woodberg is becoming a Jesmonite distributor and excited to use all of the Jesmonite products they will sell – with the AC100 Starter Kit and pigments proving most popular so far.
He added: “We get such great feedback from customers. Like us, they love Jesmonite because it is easy to use and hardens very quickly, which is a game changer in the arts industry.
Huge benefits of Jesmonite
“It is also lightweight which makes it perfect for coasters and wedding coasters that are popular in our country.
“The material actually smells very pleasant too, unlike other materials in the industry, and it is helpful that it works with any type of silicone moulds so people can use it with products they already own.
“One important thing is that the material is very affordable compared to other materials and eco-friendly is what our customers are looking for, so Jesmonite will be very popular in Palestine.”
