Great news for the people of Portugal – there is now a Jesmonite distributor in the country!

Portugal distributor

We are delighted to be working with Glicerinas to tell more people about what they can do with Jesmonite and get the materials to them more efficiently.

Remember when we went to Creativeworld in Frankfurt? (We wrote about it!). Some of Jesmonite’s team met Nuno Miguel Santos Maia – owner of Glicerinas – and introduced him to Jesmonite.

“I knew our customers would want it – I thought ‘I want to bring this to Portugal’,” Nuno said.

Fantastic material

“It is a fantastic material – we sold a Gypsum like Resin, but it is not like Jesmonite at all, this is totally different – it is much more durable, difficult to break, and the pigments allow you to create so many colours.

“I started practising with it and used it to make gifts for people at my youngest daughter’s communion party. I designed and made them all myself, it is so easy to use.

“We want to tell many more people about Jesmonite, grow our company even more, and bring great products like this to our customers.”

Nuno immediately set about becoming the first Jesmonite distributor in Portugal.

The team searched for the brand and found the huge distribution of Jesmonite around the world, they knew it would fit perfectly with the rest of their craft supplies business.

Brand visibility

João Morais, a consultant at the company, added: “Supplying Jesmonite brings another level of visibility to Glicerinas.

“It is a big opportunity for Glicerinas and also gives Jesmonite a wider reach.

“We are very excited to raise awareness of this brilliant material to more people in Portugal. We post about it a lot on social media, and people who know it are very excited about us becoming a local distributor in Portugal, and those who don’t know Jesmonite are asking about it.

“We look forward to Jesmonite being a large part of Glicerinas.”

We are delighted to have this enthusiastic and growing business as part of the Jesmonite team. To find out more about them or buy Jesmonite from them, visit the Glicerinas website or follow them on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
