2023 has been a fantastic year for Jesmonite, with plenty of exciting things happening. Keep reading to find out what our highlights have been from the past 12 months!
Exciting moments at Jesmonite HQ
2023 started off strong as some members of our team attended Creativeworld in Frankfurt for the first time. This was in partnership with our Hub Distributor, Unicraft. Based in Belgium, the team helps us supply Jesmonite to our distributor network throughout Europe. It was an amazing event, and we can’t wait to attend again in 2024. Come and see us there, we will be creating and making for four whole days!
Springtime saw us launch our new and improved website, which showcases all our wonderful distributors and premium products.
In June, we attended the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards 2023 in Telford, and we were awarded the International Company of the Year by the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce. This was a great achievement for us all at Jesmonite and is a testament to our worldwide growth over recent years.
We went on to win two more awards in 2023: ‘The Best Eco-Friendly Artist Material Manufacturer Award 2023’ and ‘The Most Innovative Building Material Firm 2023’. We were also named a finalist in the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2023 in the International Expansion category, which was a great honour.
In September, we relaunched our Jesmonite CPD training for architects and manufacturers. This has been a great success so far, and we look forward to continuing our CPDs in 2024. We can tailor these courses for architectural practises to focus more on what they want to hear from us about Jesmonite materials or the specific industries they specialise in.
big announcement a lot of people have been waiting for finally came in November….our very first American distributor! We can’t wait to appoint more distributors in America over the coming years and for Americans to be able to get Jesmonite easier than ever.
In the same month, we were recognised locally for our work when we received the Investors in Community Certificate from Mandy Thorn, MBE DL, High Sheriff of Shropshire. Despite being an international brand, we love sticking to our roots and supporting our community.
Product innovations
Over the past 12 months, we have introduced several new products to our line in response to feedback from our communities. Here they are…
- Gloss Sealer, which enhances the finished look of AC100.
- Jesmonite Decorative Paints to increase the variety of finishes users can achieve.
- An extra-small shear mixing blade to help those who are mixing Jesmonite in smaller quantities.
Partnerships
Throughout the year, we have appointed 15 new distributors located in Europe and Southeast Asia, our first in the US, and Jesmonite is now represented in 50 countries worldwide.
We have also welcomed 13 brand ambassadors to expand Jesmonite brand awareness. We love how our ambassadors create unique pieces with our materials and share their expertise through social media.

Reflecting on 2023 and looking towards the next 12 months, our Managing Director, Piran Littleton, has said: “

“We are excited about celebrating 40 years of Jesmonite in 2024, starting at Creativeworld in Frankfurt in January, followed by a new product launch in March.”
