You may have spotted Jesmonite® banding getting very creative!
Our eco-friendly material is so versatile, it can be used in many ways to create products for artists, manufacturers and architects too, making anything from cladding to coasters.
And in recent years we’ve had a big focus on expanding the Jesmonite® ‘creates’ side of our brand – building a community for creatives to share best practice, ideas and tips on how to bring ideas to life!
Start kits launched
It all began with the launch of the Jesmonite® starter kits in August 2019 which were developed purely to test the market, to see how people reacted to Jesmonite and how they used it. And boy, did they use it!
They used it so much, we now have a dedicated Jesmonite® Creatives team at our UK headquarters, distribution hubs all over the world to help get Jesmonite® products to our customers in the most cost and time effective way possible, brand ambassadors raving about the creative possibilities using Jesmonite® materials AND a thriving social media community.
What a journey it’s been (so far)!
Highlights for us include the development of the kits we sell and how we sell them. Our European Hub sells a range of different kits, and we’ve entered the retail market too – there are now more than 1000 Jesmonite stores across Europe, including over 400 in France, making our brand more accessible to crafters.
International market
And while we’re providing products to the craft market, another highlight for us is actually being at a craft market – Creativeworld in Frankfurt, an international trade fair for the hobby, craft and art supplies industry, to be precise.
Our first appearance here was in 2023 to support our European Hub’s stand and our presence there has grown and been more widely recognised each year since.

The story about the Jesmonite® creative focus would not be complete without a mention of our social media.
Our Instagram has exploded over the years and we’ve been inspired, fulfilled and amazed by everything we’ve seen. We’re so pleased to have been able to put creatives in touch all over the world and enable them to share their experiences.
Pushing towards 100k followers at the time of writing, our Insta account used to focus on architectural projects (which in themselves are incredibly impressive and can still be found on our LinkedIn page), but since it took on more of a craft focus there’s been an invasion of colour, form and creativity – we’ve loved tracking it!
Our Facebook creative group has experienced the same sort of boom – and both our platforms have become a thriving community of Jesmonite® product users who help each other out, ask and answer questions and share the reasons they love Jesmonite® materials – it really is a lovely, supportive community feel!
Our brand ambassadors from across the world have also done a fantastic job of shouting about Jesmonite® products, showcasing how they use this versatile product and connecting with many others over the years.
International Jesmonite® hubs
We’re so proud of how creatives have picked up Jesmonite® materials and just run with their unique ideas, creating things we never even thought of, combining materials and creating finishes we had never dreamed of and just constantly blowing us away! Our community of Creators really inspire us!
They’ve needed so much Jesmonite® products, in fact, our business plan adapted in order to get the material to them more quickly and as cost effective as possible.
You’ll now find Jesmonite® hubs in all continents of the world, a place where our products are delivered in bulk and then distributed to other nearby resellers who take it direct to the customer.
