“My first sale on Etsy was like a dream; I never imagined it would get this big.”
Those are the words of Cemile Pirgaip Abdul, who created Amals_atelier from her home in Hamburg, Germany.
Well, we are not surprised at how big her business has become, as her products are beautiful and would look amazing in any home!
In fact, we love her products so much, Amals_atelier is our latest Jesmonite brand ambassador! We are delighted to have Cemile flying the flag for Jesmonite and showcasing her incredible products.
Cemile previously worked in a grocery store before she had her daughter, and then she wanted to find a job she could do at home. Amals_atelier was born (named after her newborn daughter), and Cemile hasn’t looked back since.
Inspiring others to use Jesmonite
“I never imagined it would get this big,” she said.
“My first sale on Etsy was like a dream. I am so thankful and just hope I can inspire more people now that I am a brand ambassador too.
“It is like winning an award! I work with Jesmonite, the material, every day, and now I can work with Jesmonite, the company.
“I just want to inspire people and help them make their own products.”
Cemile handcrafts home interiors in a minimalist Nordic design with natural colours.
Focusing on the detail and combining complementary colours, she creates candle holders, trays, jewellery holders, bookends, and more – often in terrazzo design or with golden details.
Quality and versatility
Her unique pieces are sold worldwide.
Cemile discovered Jesmonite while scrolling through reels from other creative women in 2022. She researched the material and immediately thought it was amazing, even the beauty of her first creation before any practise or experimenting. Cemile fell in love with Jesmonite.
“The quality is amazing, my family and friends were as impressed as I was at the first try with Jesmonite,” she said.
“I didn’t want to use a toxic resin because my new born daughter was here, so this is perfect – I can do it at home and know it is environmentally friendly and safe for her to be around.
“I find the material so easy to work with, you can create such different things with Jesmonite depending on how you use it – I love terrazzo and find it therapeutic to work with.”
Cemile will soon start to work with AC730, trialling different textures and creating new products.
Great feedback
She has also started selling her products at local markets as well as wholesale to businesses and directly to customers through her Etsy shop, with worldwide shipping.
“I love the markets,” Cemile added.
“You get to see how amazed people are, it is lovely to see their reaction.
“Online too, people write lovely comments that make me happy, and then it makes me happy to help them.”
So, a huge welcome to our latest brand ambassador, and we look forward to following the development of the company and seeing Cemile help others!
