New ambassador tells followers ‘creativity has no limits when Jesmonite® is your medium’

A new Jesmonite ambassador has said creativity has no limits when you’re working with this material – and her most creative ideas come to her while out walking, in the shower or lying in bed.

GINALADÉCO, based in the Netherlands, often shouts ‘I need to write that down quickly before I forget!’ as she comes up with her ideas.

Having previously used alternative materials – Gina has now moved to exclusively using Jesmonite for her fantastic creations, and loved it so much she signed up to be an ambassador to tell others how great the material is.

She creates unique handmade pieces of home decor, candles and candle trays, artwork and mirrors.

She said she is ‘obsessed’ with making her pieces after discovering Jesmonite on social media – and we’re delighted to welcome her on board as a brand ambassador!

Gina said: “I remember seeing a beautifully poured piece by a fellow creator and thinking, what is that? I went straight to the comments and hashtags, trying to find out everything I could

about this amazing product.

“The smooth pour and durability is fantastic. It’s such a high-quality material and surprisingly user-friendly too.

“I have been exploring AC730 in my most recent work and it is quickly becoming a favourite of mine, after etching, the natural stone texture comes through beautifully. It really elevates the finish.”

For Gina, creating in a safe, non-toxic environment is essential, especially when working from home without compromising your health.

She is even more drawn to Jesmonite due to its eco-conscious qualities and cannot wait to use her ambassadorship to show other creators just what you can do.

“Jesmonite being non-toxic is a huge motivation for me,” she said.

“It’s safer for us as makers, for our customers and for the planet too.”

“As an ambassador, I want to show others that with Jesmonite, there are no creative limits.

“Coming from a completely different career background, I hope to inspire others not to let that hold them back.

“You can rediscover your love for creating at any moment of your life – and if you take it seriously, you can turn it into a career too.”

Gina launched her business in October 2022 and has a distinctive – and beautiful! – minimalist style, mainly creating products in brown, beige and white. Recently she has started to add a little colour here and there in her products too, such as a touch of yellow or soft pink. And we love it!

She previously worked as a personal trainer and in marketing, but said she has always been creative.

From a young age, she loved working with her hands and making things. As an adult, she had forgotten how important it is to make time for herself and decided to return to crafting as a hobby. Gina said it felt ‘instantly so good’ to get back into it.

“It was a big shift going from sociable jobs to spending a lot of time alone at home, but creating

gave me purpose,” she said.

“I’ve built an amazing online community where we not only support each other, but have also grown into real friendships.

“I’ve made friends in Australia, the UK, the US, and beyond – they are incredible like-minded women and we all share the same passion for creating with our hands.”

When she was young Gina’s mum filled their home with colour and character, but when she moved out, she craved simplicity.

She felt she needed minimalism, something calm and uncluttered, and that is when she fell in love with organic shapes.

Gina first went viral with a post about a handmade lampshade and now has a huge following online as well as running live and online workshops and selling her products across Europe.

She’s working on an exciting new project – launching soon – and with her new 3D printer, she’s

exploring how to start designing and making her own moulds.

So much to look forward to – and we’re so pleased to be on the journey with Gina!
