Creativeworld 2023

Creativeworld, the world’s most important trade fair for the international hobby, craft and artists’ supplies sector took place and, of course, Jesmonite was there!

Our team was so excited to attend a global trade fair in Frankfurt for the first time!

Creativeworld is the top international trade fair for the creative community. It includes hundreds of exhibitors, lectures, award ceremonies and special presentations, and provides a great opportunity to network, attend Q&A sessions and make important new contacts.

Where we need to be

Jesmonite is of course already a major player on the world stage with an ever-increasing client base bringing our marvellous product to the attention of new customers and users in a variety of fields on pretty much a daily basis.

We felt that now was the right time for us to attend this important trade fair as more and more people turn to and realise the benefits of working with Jesmonite.

There couldn’t be a bigger platform for us to meet new people and talk about Jesmonite than Creativeworld. And it was just that!

There were almost 400 companies from over 40 countries presenting new products, trends, technology and materials.

It also drew thousands of visitors from more than 100 countries and hosted professionals working in a variety of sectors including:

  • DIY
  • Building and construction
  • Arts, crafts and hobbies
  • Toys and models
  • Gift shop
  • Deco
  • Floristry
  • Food
  • Health and beauty

The 2023 show was the first since 2020 (due to Covid!) so people were so excited and eager to be there, it was brilliant.

Our stand

Our representatives Piran, Dan, Katy and Lisa were part of the Unicraft stand – Unicraft are our European Hub.

Peter Aerts, owner and managing director of Unicraft, said: “We were very excited to have a stand representing Jesmonite in Germany.

“It helped having members of the Jesmonite team there, for knowledge of products combined with our connections with people in the hobby world and buyers.

“We sold Jesmonite but also made phone stands live and gave them away.”

The Unicraft stall also stocked accessories needed for Jesmonite including sandpaper, varnish, measuring cups, pouring cups, sealer and pigments.

A first look at new improved packaging

The fair was also the debut of new improved packaging. Unicraft will use the packaging for all distributors across Europe and not only is it more environmentally friendly, it is also better for both sellers and buyers.

Instead of buckets, powder will be sold in a fully recyclable screw-top bottle (which can be recycled a further 25 times) – meaning the eco-friendly product is now in more eco-friendly packaging.

New labels, designed for commercial rather than industrial use, have a barcode on each and are more eye-catching, with examples of products you can make on the packaging.

It also comes in four languages – either German, French, English and Dutch or French, Spanish, Italian and English.

So Creativeworld not only had Jesmonite for the first time, but it also had new packaging presented for the first time too!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Unicraft for hosting us on their stand and to all our team who worked so hard throughout the four day event.

Of course, a big thank you also goes to everyone who came along to say hello and learn more about Jesmonite – it was fantastic to meet so many people and have many conversations about the exciting possibilities of working with Jesmonite!
