The setting time can be anything between 50 minutes and 2 hours, depending on temperature in the room.
This can be stored for up to 12 months.
To clean the moulds after use, rinse with warm soapy water, and dry thoroughly before using again.
It is not advised to use Jesmonite in either of these.
Yes, the most appropriate way to reveal decorative aggregates, (when using the terrazzo method for example) would be to sand the surface with (both wet and dry techniques work) sandpaper, starting with a coarse sandpaper and then moving onto a fine sandpaper grade for finer finishing.
To bond cured Jesmonite materials you would need to investigate either an epoxy based adhesive or PU based adhesive. Most of our clients find that the 2 pack epoxy adhesives are stronger than the 1 pack adhesives.
Our acrylic sealer is recommended for AC100 and will provide a satin finish and is a two coat system.
